Soil fertility and health

We offer technical assistance to our farmers through farmer trainings on how to deal with
climate change. The training focuses on producing and applying biochar made from locally
available biomass, such as crop residues, to the soil. The majority of our farmers use a Kontiki kiln to produce biochar using a flame curtain pyrolysis technique. We also sample and analyze soils to ensure optimum performance.
